Bronco Mendenhall becomes head coach of Lobo football program

Bronco Mendenhall, former head coach at the University of Virginia, has reportedly been hired as the next head football coach for the University of New Mexico (UNM). Mendenhall, who previously served as the Lobos' defensive coordinator from 1998 to 2002, has signed a five-year deal with UNM. The university has neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
