Braves demote Stephens, Fried praises prospects in draft review.

The Atlanta Braves have outrighted pitcher Jackson Stephens to Triple-A Gwinnett, potentially giving him the option to become a free agent again. Stephens had a solid 2022 season with the Braves, but lost his roster spot to Dennis Santana in the offseason. He signed a non-guaranteed split contract with the Braves and has been pitching in big league camp. Stephens could be a useful bullpen option with his ability to go multiple innings.
