Best Friend of Ja Morant, Davonte Pack, Faces Arrest Warrant

An arrest warrant has been issued for Davonte Pack, the best friend of NBA player Ja Morant, in connection with an altercation between Pack, Morant, and a teenage basketball player in July 2022. Pack is charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly punching the teen during a pick-up basketball game at Morant's house. Pack is also a co-defendant in a civil case filed by the teen, Joshua Holloway. The Shelby County District Attorney's Office confirmed the warrant and stated that they will proceed to prosecute the case.
