Justin Wilson suffered a fractured vertebra in a crash during Indy 500 practice, caused by Katherine Legge failing to slow down in time. Marco Andretti, who had a near miss just a lap earlier, believes the new aero package is allowing cars to run closer together, making it difficult to pass. Despite starting from the eighth row, Andretti believes he has a strong race car and can make progress towards the front in the 200-lap event.
