North Wilkesboro Speedway: Excitement Builds for All-Star Week.

The NASCAR Cup Series returns to North Wilkesboro Speedway for the first time since 1996, with a capacity crowd of about 30,000 expected for the All-Star Race. Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished 16th in Wednesday night’s Cars Tour Late Model Stock Car race at North Wilkesboro and was instrumental in the track’s revival. The All-Star Race will be 200 laps, with all laps counting, and a competition break at around Lap 100. The race winner will pocket $1 million.
