The FIA has abruptly ended its investigation into a conflict of interest complaint involving Susie Wolff, head of the F1 Academy, and her husband Toto Wolff, the Mercedes F1 team boss. The investigation was dropped after just two days, following denials from the Wolffs, Mercedes, and all 10 Formula 1 teams. The FIA stated that it revisited its code of conduct and conflict of interest policies and concluded that Formula One Media's compliance management system is robust enough to prevent unauthorized disclosure of confidential information. Mercedes has confirmed that it is in active legal exchange with the FIA, while Susie Wolff expressed anger over the handling of the matter and the online abuse she has received. FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem is currently receiving treatment in the hospital after sustaining a concussion in a fall.
