Charlotte Considers $650M Renovation for Panthers' Stadium

Charlotte City Council is considering a $650 million investment to renovate Bank of America Stadium, ensuring the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC remain in the city for another 20 years. The project aims to modernize the stadium with new concourses, seating, and community spaces, funded by a tax on hotel rooms and prepared food and beverages. Renovations are planned from 2025 to 2029, with Tepper Sports & Entertainment contributing $150 million and covering maintenance costs.
