Jackson Mahomes, the brother of NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, had three felony sexual assault charges against him dismissed in Johnson County. The charges stemmed from an incident in February 2023 at a now-closed restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas. The dismissal occurred after the alleged victim, Aspen Vaughn, indicated she would plead the Fifth Amendment if compelled to testify, and suggested the encounter was consensual. Mahomes still faces a misdemeanor battery charge related to a different alleged victim and has pleaded not guilty, opting for a jury trial scheduled for March 25, 2024.
