Cody Dorman, a 17-year-old with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome, has passed away shortly after witnessing his horse, Cody's Wish, win the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile for the second time. Dorman's bond with the horse had been a source of strength for him throughout his life. The Dorman family had planned to continue visiting Cody's Wish after his retirement. The Breeders' Cup community expressed their condolences and paid tribute to Cody's strength and spirit. Donations to Make-A-Wish have been requested in lieu of flowers.
