"MLB Game at Wrigley Field: Mets vs. Cubs with Bleeding Control Kits Available"

Bleeding control kits, including a tourniquet, gauze, and trauma shears, are now available at more than 20 wall stations at Wrigley Field, making it the first major league ballpark to have them installed throughout the park. The American College of Surgeons offers a free hour-long course on how to respond to bleeding emergencies, and city officials say Chicago has the kits available at more than 300 locations. Ballpark staff are also trained on how to stop the bleed, and police officers and firefighters will be honored for first responders’ night during the Cubs-Mets game at Wrigley Field.
