EA Sports is set to release College Football 25, its first college football game since 2013, featuring actual player names for the first time. The game will include players, coaches, fans, mascots, school-specific stadiums, and more, with all 134 FBS schools represented. This is made possible by the Name, Image, and Likeness era, allowing players to be compensated for their status as college athletes. EA Sports plans to sign over 11,000 athletes to use their actual name and depiction in the game, with players receiving $600 and a free copy of the game as payment.
