Vicksburg woman charged with embezzling $33K from youth football program.

Ashley Schippers, the former treasurer of the Vicksburg youth football program, has been charged with embezzling over $33,000 from the program over a period of four years. Schippers admitted to using the money to pay her personal bills. The irregularities were noticed during an audit by the Vicksburg Rocket Football Board of Directors. Schippers has been charged with embezzling $20,000 or more and will appear in court on July 6.
