Suspects Apprehended for Stealing Yogi Berra's World Series Rings and Roger Maris' MVP Trophy.

Nine people have been charged for stealing millions of dollars worth of paintings, sports memorabilia, and other valuables, including Yogi Berra's World Series rings and Roger Maris' MVP trophy. The thefts occurred over two decades at 20 different museums and institutions across four states. Some of the stolen items have been recovered, but it is unclear which items will be returned to their owners or museums. Eight of the nine suspects have turned themselves in, while the ninth is considered a fugitive. The thieves allegedly melted down some of the sports memorabilia, including nine of Berra's 10 World Series rings, and sold them for less than their worth.
