Foxborough police are seeking to charge three Rhode Island men with assault and battery and disorderly conduct in connection with the death of a New England Patriots fan at Gillette Stadium last month. Dale Mooney, 53, died following an altercation in the 300-tier section of the stadium. Preliminary autopsy results did not suggest traumatic injury but identified a medical issue. The cause and manner of Mooney's death remain undetermined pending further testing.
