Police Dismiss Alleged O.J. Simpson Confession Tape Claims

The Bloomington Police Department has clarified that there is no evidence of an O.J. Simpson confession on thumb drives seized from his former bodyguard, Iroc Avelli, despite claims to the contrary. The drives, which were analyzed following a request from the LAPD, contained no recordings of Simpson, only those of Avelli. Simpson, who was acquitted of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in criminal court but found liable in civil court, passed away in April 2024. The LAPD considers the case closed.
