Mercyhurst hockey player Carson Briere charged in wheelchair incident.

Carson Briere, son of Philadelphia Flyers interim general manager Danny Briere, and another Mercyhurst University athlete, Patrick Carrozzi, have been charged with three misdemeanors after a video showed them pushing an unoccupied wheelchair down a staircase. The charges include criminal mischief, criminal conspiracy to commit mischief, and disorderly conduct. The wheelchair's owner filed a complaint, saying the fall down the stairs damaged the wheelchair, which cost $2,000. Briere and Carrozzi are scheduled to appear in court on May 22.
