Georgia Woman Arrested in Bahamas for Alleged Plot to Kill Former Auburn Football Player Husband

Lindsay Shiver, a Georgia woman, has been arrested in the Bahamas for allegedly plotting to kill her estranged husband, Robert Shiver, a former Auburn University football player. The plot was discovered accidentally by Bahamian police during an unrelated investigation. Two men, including Lindsay Shiver's lover, were also arrested. Text messages found on a phone revealed the details of the murder plot. Lindsay Shiver allegedly paid a hitman to carry out the murder. The trio appeared in court and is due back on October 5. Robert Shiver had filed for divorce upon discovering his wife's affair.
