Fatal Brawl at Gillette Stadium: Two RI Men Charged in Patriots Fan's Death

Two Rhode Island men have been charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct in connection with the death of a fan at a New England Patriots game. Dale Mooney, a 30-year season ticket holder, died after a confrontation in the 300-tier section of Gillette Stadium during a Patriots-Dolphins game. The medical examiner ruled Mooney's death as a "probable cardiac dysrhythmia in a person with severe hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease during a physical altercation." The incident is under investigation by Foxborough police and Massachusetts State Police.
