Ex-NFL player with history of violence accused of threatening congressman.

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell reported former NFL player Bruce Miller to the U.S. Capitol Police after he allegedly sent a threatening message via Twitter. Miller, who played for the San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars, reportedly asked Swalwell if he would prefer "Guantanamo or just execution" in a direct message. The message was followed by laughing emojis and ended with the word "traitor." The U.S. Capitol Police said it cannot discuss "potential investigations" or security measures for members of Congress for safety reasons.
