Dwayne Haskins' family alleges conspiracy involving drugging and blackmail.

A lawsuit filed by Dwayne Haskins's wife and parents alleges that the former Washington Commanders quarterback was drugged, blackmailed, and robbed before he was hit by a truck and killed while trying to cross Interstate 595 in April 2022. The suit names the truck driver, the Wyndham Garden Hotel, and three establishments Haskins had visited in the hours before his death. The suit alleges that the businesses allowed patrons to use drugs and drug other patrons, including Haskins. The suit also alleges that the truck driver was driving carelessly and above the speed limit, and that the truck's owner did not make proper repairs to its brakes and tires.
