A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a bronze Jackie Robinson statue in Wichita, Kansas, which was later found dismantled and burned. The theft was not deemed a hate crime, but rather an attempt to sell the metal for scrap. The suspect, who has a criminal record, faces charges including felony theft and aggravated criminal damage to property.
