Moore stays in Eugene for 2026, scrapping NFL draft plans

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore announced on ESPN that he will return to the Ducks for the 2026 season, choosing another college year over entering the NFL draft. This season he threw for 3,565 yards and 30 touchdowns with 10 interceptions as Oregon finished 13-2, capped by a CFP semifinal loss to Indiana in which he had three first-half turnovers. Moore, who began at UCLA before becoming Oregon’s starter, was praised by coach Dan Lanning, who had hoped he’d stay. The Ducks also added transfer Dylan Raiola, while tight end Kenyon Sadiq and safety Dillon Thieneman declared for the NFL draft, and several players including Iapani Laloulu, Jamari Johnson, Teitum Tuioti and Matayo Uiagalelei plan to return.
