Luke Reynolds leaves Penn State for Virginia Tech via transfer portal

Penn State tight end Luke Reynolds has committed to Virginia Tech through the NCAA transfer portal, adding depth for the Hokies alongside Que’Sean Brown. Reynolds, a four-star recruit from Cheshire Academy (MA), appeared in 16 games with four starts as a freshman in 2024 (nine receptions for 11 yards and a touchdown, plus a 32-yard fake punt run). In 2025 he played 13 games with seven starts, tallying 267 catches for 257 yards with no touchdowns and adding two carries for 26 yards. He was the No. 62 overall player in the 2024 class and the No. 4 tight end, from Massachusetts, where he had 48 catches for 754 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior. Virginia Tech continues to add offensive talent, joining Que’Sean Brown in Blacksburg.
