Malaysia seeks Interpol's aid in locating comedian over MH370 joke.

Malaysian police will seek Interpol's help to find a U.S.-based comedian, Jocelyn Chia, who made a controversial joke about the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. Chia joked that Malaysian planes "cannot fly" in reference to the disappearance of Flight MH370. The joke was condemned as a "horrendous statement" and "gratuitously offensive." Interpol has not received any request from Malaysia in relation to this individual, and any request would need to comply with the organization's constitution. Chia claims that her joke was taken out of context and consumed on social media.
