"Cyclists fend off cougar attack, rescue injured woman in Washington state"

A group of cyclists east of Seattle fought off a cougar in a rare attack that left a woman injured with neck and face injuries. The cyclists were riding near Fall City when the animal attacked, but they managed to fend it off. The injured woman is in stable condition. Authorities removed a 75-pound cougar from the scene and are examining its body to determine its age, condition, and whether it had a disease.
