Pennsylvania Woman Survives Terrifying Bear Attack While Walking Dog

A Pennsylvania woman survived a bear attack in her backyard while letting her dog out, sustaining injuries including a broken nose, puncture wounds, and cuts. The bear, which had previously been captured on home cameras, charged at her and her dog, but they managed to escape into the house and call for help. The mother bear was euthanized by the Pennsylvania Game Commission, while her cubs were tranquilized and are expected to be released elsewhere.
