Violence Erupts at Philadelphia Eid Celebration, 3 Injured

At least three people were injured in a shooting at an outdoor Eid al-Fitr celebration in West Philadelphia, where about 1,000 people had gathered. The incident involved a volley of gunshots between two factions, resulting in injuries to a 22-year-old, a young person, and a 15-year-old who was shot by a police officer. Additionally, a child was struck by a police vehicle. Five people were arrested, and four guns were recovered. The police commissioner commended the majority of attendees as good people and emphasized the need for greater gun control.
