Road Closures and Delays Expected for Fourth of July Travel in Multiple States

The Michigan Department of Transportation has scheduled about 50 road and bridge projects with lane closures for this week following the extended Independence Day weekend. Some of the closures to watch out for include U.S. 127 in Ingham County, U.S. 23 in Southeast Michigan, I-94 in Wayne County, M-25 in Huron/Tuscola counties, I-75 in Monroe County, Telegraph Road in Oakland County, Upper Peninsula, I-75 in Oakland County, I-94 in Battle Creek, and M-54 in Genesee County. Drivers are advised to follow posted signage and check the state's construction schedule for updates.
