The driver involved in the fatal DDOT bus crash that killed a woman earlier this month has been terminated from her job, according to a top Detroit transit official. The driver, Geraldine Johnson, faces one count of moving violation causing death, a misdemeanor, in the crash that killed Janice Bauer, 67, as she was headed to her job at SMART. Johnson was called a "serious danger to the community" based on her crash history, which included an earlier pedestrian fatality in 2015.
