"26 Barges Break Loose, Prompting Pittsburgh Bridge Closures"

Twenty-six barges loaded mostly with dry cargo broke loose from a Pittsburgh marina and floated uncontrollably down the Ohio River, causing extensive damage to neighboring docks. The barges have all been accounted for, with 23 loaded with nonhazardous dry cargo and three empty. Bridge closures in Pittsburgh have since been lifted, and an investigation is underway.
