Tragic Crash Claims Mattanawcook Student's Life in Lowell

A 17-year-old student from Mattanawcook Academy in Maine was killed in a crash in Lowell. The driver and another passenger, both teenagers, sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The victim, identified as Cierra McCain, was a backseat passenger and died at the scene. Police reported that no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt, and the crash is currently under investigation.
