Tragic Crash Claims Life of High School Senior in Collision with School Bus

A 17-year-old senior at Lake Minneola High School in Florida was killed in a crash with a school bus while riding his bicycle at the entrance to the school. The bus driver, a 78-year-old woman, was uninjured. The incident occurred when the teenager rode his bike onto a marked crosswalk as the bus attempted to turn into the school. The bus hit the teenager, continued off the road, and collided with a stop sign and fence. The student was pronounced dead at the hospital, and grief counselors will be available at the school for support.
