Tragic Accident: 8-Year-Old Boy Fatally Struck by School Bus

An 8-year-old boy was tragically struck and killed by a school bus as he walked home from his yeshiva in New Square, New York. The boy, identified as Mordechai Pinchos Spitzer, stepped in front of the bus as it was taking students home, and died at the scene. The bus driver stayed and cooperated with police, while the area around the school remained off limits as authorities collected evidence and interviewed witnesses. The Ramapo Police Department's accident reconstruction team is investigating the incident.
