Nebraska Police Officer Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash During Traffic Stop

Ceresco Police Officer Ross Bartlett was killed in a crash while conducting a traffic stop on Highway 77 when his cruiser was struck by a Ford F150. Bartlett, who had worked in various law enforcement agencies across Nebraska, was remembered by officials for his professionalism and outstanding personality. Nebraska law enforcement held a procession to escort Bartlett, and Gov. Jim Pillen ordered flags to be flown at half-staff in his honor.
