Utah climber dies heroically saving friend from falling ice column.

Meg O'Neill, a 41-year-old climber, died after pushing a fellow climber out of the way to save her when a massive ice column from a frozen Utah waterfall split. O'Neill was crushed beneath "two huge blocks of ice," resulting in her death. A 34-year-old man who accompanied the two female climbers was severely injured after falling 40 feet. O'Neill worked at Embark Outdoors, a nonprofit organization that inspires young refugee women through outdoor sports. She was described as a "brave, outrageous woman who lost her life while saving another."
