Tragic Pool Incident Claims Life of Two-Year-Old in Oregon

A two-year-old boy in Oregon drowned in a neighbor's pool after leaving his house while his mother was asleep. The child's father was at work, and his four-year-old brother was also home. A neighbor called 911 after seeing the toddler outside alone, prompting police to advise the mother to be more careful. However, a second call was made when the mother discovered that her two-year-old was missing, and officers found him drowning in the neighbor's pool. CPR was performed, but the child did not survive. An investigation by Children Services is underway, and a complaint about the pool's lack of a fence has been filed.
