Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Lives of Two Davis County Deputies

Two Davis County Sheriff's deputies, Corporal Steven Lewis and Deputy Jennifer Turner, were killed in a motorcycle crash in South Weber when they collided with a pickup truck while attempting to turn. The crash is being investigated by the Utah Highway Patrol. Lewis, a former Army serviceman, had been with the sheriff's office since 2018 and was recently promoted to corporal. Turner joined the office in 2020 and was involved in various programs aimed at alternative incarceration. The Davis County Sheriff's Office is receiving support from Davis Behavioral Health following the tragedy.
