Tragic Head-On Collision Claims Life of Wauconda Math Teacher in Suspected DUI Crash

A beloved math teacher and athletic trainer at Wauconda High School in Illinois, Bob Gillen, died in a head-on crash caused by an alleged intoxicated driver. The crash occurred early Sunday morning, and Gillen was pronounced dead at the scene. One person was transported in serious condition. Gillen had been a dedicated member of the school community since 1996, and his loss is deeply felt by students, staff, and the community.
