Tragic Fun-Plex Incident Claims Life of 6-Year-Old Boy

Witnesses at Fun-Plex Waterpark & Rides in Omaha, Nebraska, have defended the response of lifeguards after a 6-year-old boy was found unresponsive in the wave pool and later died. The witnesses stated that the lifeguards followed protocol, performing CPR and using an AED, and did everything they could to save the boy. The grieving parents of the boy are calling for compassion and reminding others of how quickly accidents can happen, urging the community to support the family in their time of need. Fun-Plex has been closed since the incident.
