Tragic Fires Claim Lives in North Carolina Construction Sites and Neighborhoods.

Two workers were killed in a massive construction fire in the upscale South Park neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. The fire started in a trailer used to spray insulation into the building's walls, and firefighters were unable to reach the victims before the flames became too intense. At least two small crews of firefighters had to make mayday calls and be rescued from the fast-moving blaze. The firefighters did rescue 15 workers inside the building, including the crane operator.
