Tragic Deaths Shake High School Communities During Homecoming Season

A high school student in Ohio, Breanne "Bre" McKean, collapsed and died on the football field during homecoming festivities. McKean, a senior and contender for homecoming queen, was a member of the volleyball and basketball teams. The homecoming football game was suspended at halftime, and the school canceled the homecoming dance and all athletic events. Grief counselors were made available to support the community during this difficult time.
