Tragic Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Claims College Student's Life

A student at Evergreen State College in Washington has died and three others were injured in a suspected carbon monoxide poisoning incident. Campus police were alerted after a student residence manager was unable to contact students, leading to the discovery of the situation. Two students and the officer who performed CPR were hospitalized, while a contractor had previously responded to carbon monoxide alarms on campus. Carbon monoxide poisoning, which can be caused by various factors, is responsible for over 400 deaths in the US annually. The incident is currently under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
