"Tragic Accident: High School Student Among 3 Killed by Fallen Power Line in Portland"

Two adults and a teenager, including Milwaukie High School student Ta’Ron Briggs, were killed after a live power line fell on their SUV in northeast Portland. A 2-year-old child was rescued from the arms of one of the adults and survived. Authorities urge people to always assume fallen wires are live, never touch them, and report them to their utility.
