Tragedy Strikes as 5 Children Perish in Bullhead City House Fire

Five children, who were left home alone by their father while he went Christmas shopping, died in a fire that engulfed their two-story duplex in Bullhead City, Arizona. The victims, aged 2 to 13, were all siblings or relatives and were trapped in an upstairs bedroom as the fire started in the downstairs foyer, blocking their escape route. Neighbors attempted to rescue them but were unable to reach them in time. The cause of the fire is under investigation by local authorities, with assistance from the Lake Havasu City Fire Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms.
