An international investigation is underway into the implosion of the Titan submersible, which was on a dive to visit the wreckage of the Titanic. Debris from the submersible, including presumed human remains, has been found. The use of a carbon fiber hull is suspected to have led to the implosion, as carbon fiber may not be able to withstand the extreme pressures at great depths.
