Multiple Fatal Fires Strike Duluth Apartment Building

Two tenants died and one woman was rescued but later pronounced dead after a fire broke out in an 8-plex apartment building in Duluth, Minnesota. Firefighters rescued several tenants and cats, but some animals succumbed to the fire and smoke. Two firefighters sustained burns while working to save people from the building. This is the third fatal fire at the same building, with previous deaths occurring in August 2020 and April 2021. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
