Fatal Accident at Biltmore Estate Due to Strong Winds

A Biltmore Estate employee was fatally injured after a tree fell due to high winds on Saturday. The estate experienced power outages and was closed for the remainder of the day. The Biltmore team is offering assistance to the family and support to employees impacted by the death of their co-worker. This incident occurred almost a year after a New York City firefighter was killed when a tree fell on his car near the entrance of the Biltmore Estate.
