"Candlelight Vigil Honors Lives Lost in Hillsboro Aero Academy Plane Crash"

A candlelight vigil was held at Hillsboro Aero Academy to remember the two lives lost in a small plane crash in Newberg, Oregon. The victims were identified as 20-year-old Barrett Bevacqua and 22-year-old Michele Cavallotti, both from Hillsboro. Bevacqua was a student pilot and Cavallotti was an instructor at the academy. A third occupant, 20-year-old Emily Hurd, survived but sustained critical injuries.
