Tragic Crash: School Bus and Semi Collision Claims Five Lives

A school bus and a commercial vehicle collided on U.S. Route 24, resulting in the deaths of two adults, the bus driver, the truck driver, and three students. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Illinois State Police, and the bodies are being taken to Springfield Memorial Hospital. The students were from Schuyler-Industry Schools, and the school community is mourning the loss of staff and students.
