Tragic Crash in Las Vegas Leaves Officer Injured

A driver was killed and a Las Vegas Metropolitan police officer was injured in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Las Vegas. The police vehicle was stopped at a red light when a sedan ran through the red light and collided with it. The crash resulted in the closure of traffic in all directions. The police officer sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the driver of the sedan, who suffered critical injuries, later died. The Nevada State Police is investigating the incident.
